Welcome to the Alabama Beta Chapter website of Sigma Phi Epsilon. This chapter was founded at the University of Alabama on December 14, 1927. Since then, the AL Beta chapter has excelled in every facet of the University; from academics to intramural sports. We recruit the best quality of young men on a year-round basis. Sigma Phi Epsilon strives to build balanced men in all aspects of life, and that road begins with the recruitment of young men that have displayed an aptitude for balance in various aspects of their lives already. Strong fraternities are built on solid rush classes, a necessity for their survival. We at Sigma Phi Epsilon believe in non-alcoholic rush events. This is something we consider imperative in the process of getting to know potential new members personally and building a true brotherhood with the men sitting across from you. This also helps us maintain a safe environment for new members and brothers alike.
